Banana-Oats Fritter

Batter comprised of oats, rice-flour, banana, eggs, sugar and water

A simple and nutritious breakfast all ready for consumption within 30 minutes! The only drawback is using cooking oil for frying. If only someone has invented a water-like substance to replace oil. Shall we live to see that happen? ;-)

Ingredients for 4 servings:
Oats: 100g
Rice Flour: 100g
Bananas (meshed): 200 g (4 medium-size)
Sugar: 50 g (10 teaspoon)
Eggs: 3 (medium-size)
Water: 200 ml

Enough cooking oil for frying

Method:
Mix the ingredients in a large bowl thoroughly until smooth.
Deep fry in hot oil until light-brown.
Remove, drain on absorbent paper and serve hot.
Enjoy!

p/s: If rice flour is not available, u can substitute with wheat flour and tapioca flour in equal portions.

Is it possible to bake the oats-banana fritter rather than deep-fried? 10s for sharing the recipe.

davidlu: a good question that makes me think about it seriously. Technically, it's possible but the only thing is the taste and texture which may be different. Look into it the next time i do the same. It's healthier by baking! Thanks.
